EXTERIOR REPAIRS AND SEALING

Structural carpentry repairs in Metro Vancouver.

Sometimes the rot goes further than the trim. When beams, posts, stairs or framing have been damaged, we open it up, rebuild it and coat it with the rest of the project. If the damage affects how the building carries load, your engineer reviews it first and we work to their direction.

What’s included

Every structural carpentry repairs project is priced from a walk-through and written up line by line, so you know exactly what you are paying for.

  • ✓Exterior stair and balcony framing
  • ✓Rotted sheathing and framing at trim and fascia
  • ✓Photos of what was found

“I have been a painting contractor for over thirty years and was given the task by our strata council to find a reliable painting company. Again, the work was top notch, and the crew were amiable, professional, and hard working, we had no complaints from any of the owners.”
David James, strata council member
“We asked for quotations from 4 companies and Art Vision is the smallest of the four. Their quote is also not the lowest among the four. We picked Art Vision based on the fact that they have their own crews and would not subcontract out the project.”
George Chan, Riverwalk Townhomes
“We found the crew to be easy to deal with, honest, respectful, capable, skilled, knowledgeable, proactive, and just very nice folk. They went above and beyond.”
Dave Holsworth, Salish Estates

FAQ

Questions we hear

Do we need an engineer?

If the damage touches anything that carries load, yes. We will tell you as soon as we see it, and we work from the engineer’s direction.

Can you price it before opening it up?

We give unit prices and a realistic contingency, then confirm the scope with photos once the area has been opened.
